Correct Directions for the placement of Feng Shui indoor water fountain
- North direction: north is the direction of water element, this is an auspicious direction for a fountain. Placing a fountain in this direction brings new opportunities, growth in business, success and career growth.
- East direction: East is the direction of the air element. This is also an auspicious direction for a fountain. Placing a fountain in this direction bring brilliant thoughts, harmony in the family, good social relationship, fun in life and good health.
- South East direction: South East placement helps attract wealth and money.
- The fountain must always be flowing & not still (except for times of maintenance)
- Metallic water fountains are best. Metal enhances water (from the image above)
- Add some coins to an earthen water fountain. Metal enhances water.
- Adding coins to wooden fountains is good too. Wood reduces water and metallic coins will enhance water energy.
Avoid these directions
- Never keep a broken fountain at your home.

- Don’t have a fountain directly below a bedroom. Sleeping over water is not recommended.
- Don’t put a fountain to the right of the front door as you are looking out of your house. This can cause extramarital affairs for the man of the house.
