McKinsey's 7s framework with special reference to organization under study - Organisational Internship

Structure:

This refers to an organizational structure or the reporting pattern. Add the hierarchical model of the organization from top level management with different departments. Add hierarchical structure of each department. Enquire exactly to add the details at your organization.

Strategy:

It is the plan of action by which a company gains a leadership edge or competitive advantage. Write about different strategies formulated by your organization to gain competitive advantage. Inquire at your organization and Entrepreneur and write explanations of each strategy.
Example: You can explain the following points in brief:
1.Pricing
2.Quality
3.Availability
4.Society
5.Innovation
6.Product differentiation, etc.

System:

This incorporates the everyday exercises in which the staff involves themselves for guaranteeing the completion of their assigned work. Explain about how the company runs its day to day activities and explain about each activity, in brief, focusing the employee's tasks.

3.Inbound logistics
4.Procurement

Skills:

This implies the core competencies or the key skills of the staff which is responsible for the organization's success. Write about each skill in brief.

Technical skill:

Write about the Technical work at the organization and how employees are trained. Example: Software.

Interpersonal skill:

Explain who motivates the employees and by how. Who resolves the conflicts? Example: Administration department.

Conceptual skill:

Explain who is the top of the hierarchy? Write about how decisions are made at the organization, controlling, implementations etc.

Style:

This lays emphasis on the leadership style and how it impacts the strategic decisions, individuals motivation, and total organization performance.

The company's staff or the capabilities of the employees.

Shared Values:

The objectives or the core values within the organizational culture or influence the code of ethics. Write about Quality assurance, transparency, honesty, costs consciousness, environment etc. Example: They maintain hygiene at all the places like procurement, processing, packing, and distribution.
