Agasteswara Kona is completely a hill and you can park your vehicle at one point, and reach Agasteswara Kona through a few steps climbing down.
Agasteswara Kona is a famous pilgrimage in Kadapa district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is the place of Lord Siva Temple. Agasteswara Kona is located 10km from Jammanamadugu. From Proddatur Agasteswara Kona is well connected by road and the distance is 40 km. Limited buses and local autos are available to reach Agasteswara Kona.
Inside this temple, you can find the idols Ganapathi, Dattatreya and Lord Shiva. Shiva idol was installed by sage Agastya. People who reside here said that Agastya Rushi (Sage in English) lived here over 1000 years back ago.
You can enjoy the waterfall in this place during a few seasons. Water flowing here joins into Pennar River.
